A place with a rich history
The roots of Šilainė Resort date back to 1998, when in a wooden cottage, moved from Puńsk, we received the first guests.
The name Šilainė (Sandy Lands) derives from the name of a former Lithuanian village covering the area of the Centre, which was annexed to the village of Oszkina (Puńsk Municipality) after the displacement of the inhabitants to Lithuania.
The settlement of Jaćwiesko-Pruska, located near our Centre, where the former wooden hill and place of worship were recreated, allows you to find even more ancient traces of the unique history of this place.
